Shore Thing

Spending time in #nature always rejuvenates my soul. It's good to be outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, and thanking #God for the beauty of His creation. I took this photo by the #lake close to my house. No matter what time of day or what time of year, the lake always communicates a beautiful and comforting story that tells me:

1) to be still

2) to know that God hears me

3) to know that God loves me

4) to #trust the journey

Like the water that laps the shore over and over and over again, God is sure. In the chaos of the day, trust God. In the chaos of the week, trust God more.

A #gracious heart will always point to the important things in life. A heart of #gratitude will ground us and bring us back to that thing we were created for. For me, that thing is #writing and #creating.

This #blog post is nothing more than a statement of gratitude. It's a "shore" thing that God loves us and created us to love ourselves and one another. Let's do our thing with our whole heart. Let us be good to ourselves. Let us be good to one another.
